AAU Cares: Holiday Party

AAU Cares Chair and Second Vice President Joe Gura went to Padua High School in the Lake Erie District for the annual AAU Cares Holiday Party for special needs families. There were about 150 families in attendance. Before the event, some of the children wrote Christmas letters to Santa, requesting what they wanted. When the children arrived at the holiday party, Santa and AAU Cares were able to give them what they had asked for. Other activities at the party were cookie decorating, crafts, and balloon animals that the children got to parade around the room with.

Gura and the AAU Cares team are thankful to Padua High School for allowing them to provide some holiday cheer to these families and getting the chance to give back in this holiday season.
